My two favorite verses:

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.
I like it cause it shows the powed of gospel and explains that only through God people can come to Christ.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.
I like this verse because it remindes me that the future is in Gods hands so I don't not have to fear what is to come.
